Book Review- The Girl Who Could Fly

So this book, The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester, was okay. And it was only okay. This book left me feeling very confused. At first I thought that this book was taking place, oh, maybe in the 1940's? But no. Apparently not, because the house was suddenly swarmed with helicopters and television cameras.
So, Piper McCloud can fly. She has never been able to meet people or go to school because her parents kept her home because they didn't want her show anyone her flying.
When her parents finally let her go to the church picnic, she flies up and catches a baseball. So some people in hellicopters come and take her away to I.N.S.A.N.E. Now she realizes that this place really doesn't want to help her, and she must help the other children with special powers escape. This book begins out extremelly slow, but I advise you to keep reading!
